Free and Premium
Use this guide to see what a free household can do, and what Premium adds.
Before you begin
Plans are per household, not per person. One Game Master upgrades and everyone in the household gets it.
What you get
| Free | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Quests you set up | 5 a week | unlimited |
| People in the household | 4 | unlimited |
| Repeating quests | — | ✓ |
| Events | — | ✓ |
| Goals you start | — | ✓ |
| XP, gold, the shop, streaks, trophies, real rewards and payouts | ✓ | ✓ |
The whole reward loop is free. Premium saves you setup — quests that come back on their own, and no weekly limit.
Finding what's locked
Anything Premium is marked where it lives rather than hidden. Repeating quests carry a Premium badge on the create screen, and Events carries one on the Family screen. Tapping either explains what it does — nothing is greyed out, and you never fill in a form that can't be saved.
The weekly limit
It counts quests you create, not quests anyone finishes. Players complete as many as exist, as often as they like, and never see a limit.
The week runs from the day your household set as its start, in your household's timezone. Change it under Family, then Household settings. The create-quest screen shows how many you have left.
Delete a quest and you get the slot back.
If your subscription ends
Nothing is taken away. A household that drops to free with six people keeps all six — you just can't add a seventh until you're back on Premium. Repeating quests you already set up keep going, and an event that's already running finishes its window.
Common issues
I can't create a quest. You've used your five for the week. It resets at the start of your household's week, or Premium removes the limit.
I deleted a quest and still can't create one. Deleting frees the slot, so check the count on the create screen — you may have created more than you remember earlier in the week.
Someone can't join. Free households hold four people. The Family screen shows how many you're using, so you can check before sharing the code. Remove someone who's no longer using it, or go Premium.
A Player says the household is full. They can't fix it themselves — only a Game Master can remove someone or upgrade.
I upgraded and nothing changed. The app checks your plan when you open a screen. Leave the screen and come back.
