Streaks and trophies

Use this guide to understand why your streak went up, stayed put, or reset — and what unlocks a trophy.

Before you begin

You need to have completed at least one quest. Streaks start at your first approved quest, not at signup.

How streaks count

You have two streaks. The daily streak counts days in a row where you completed a quest. The weekly streak counts weeks in a row, running from whatever day the household has chosen as its first day of the week — Monday by default. A Game Master sets it under Family, then Household settings, and changing it re-counts weekly streaks from that new day.

They run independently. Miss a day and your daily streak resets while your weekly streak carries on, as long as you finished something that week.

What breaks a streak

Only a day you could have acted.

If you had a quest waiting and didn't finish it, that breaks the run. If there was nothing assigned to you at all, that day doesn't count against you — it's skipped, and your streak carries on from the last day you did something.

This matters if your Game Master doesn't set quests every day. You can't lose a streak because nobody gave you anything to do.

A quest counts as waiting for every day it stays open. If one is posted on a Monday and you finish it on Thursday, Tuesday and Wednesday were days you could have acted, so the streak breaks. Finish things while they're fresh.

Today never breaks a streak while it's still today. An unfinished quest pauses your run rather than ending it, right up until midnight.

Quests that ran past their due date stop counting. Once a quest expires you can't submit it, so it can't be held against you after that.

When you don't have a streak

Your character sheet leaves the streak out entirely rather than showing a zero. The Trophies screen shows your best run instead, so you know what to beat.

Trophies

Trophies unlock on their own the moment you meet the condition. You don't claim them.

Four of them come from streaks: seven days in a row, thirty days in a row, four weeks in a row, and twelve weeks in a row. These use your best-ever run, so a trophy you've earned can never be taken away by a later reset.

The rest come from quests completed, gold earned, collections finished, and levels reached. Each one shows its progress on the Trophies screen while it's still locked.

Six come from sticking with one kind of work: twenty-five approved quests in Kitchen, Tidying, Outdoor, Pets, Homework or Self care, each with its own trophy. Only approved quests count, and only in the category the quest was actually set to — changing a quest's category doesn't move completions that already happened. An uncategorised quest earns no category trophy. A category your household adds itself has no trophy either.

Renaming a category doesn't affect its trophy — the trophy follows the category, not the name. Switching one off hides its trophy while it's off, unless you've already earned it: an earned trophy is never taken away. Your progress keeps counting either way, so switching a category back on picks up exactly where it left off.

Most trophies pay gold when they unlock, and most also grant a title you can display under your name on your character sheet. Pick which one to wear on the Trophies screen.

Six trophies also grant an item you can't get any other way: a hundred quests completed earns the Centurion's Mantle, a thirty-day daily streak earns the Emberhood, a twelve-week weekly streak earns Steadfast Shades, character level fifty earns the Legend's Regalia, two thousand gold earned from quests earns the Hoard Dragon, and collecting every cat in the shop earns the Little Leopard. None of the six can be bought at any price and none can drop — earning the trophy is the only way in. The Trophies screen shows each one locked under its name until you do.

Every trophy announces itself. Finish the quest that earns it yourself and it shows on screen right away. If a Game Master approved it while you were away, it's waiting the next time you open the app.

Common issues

My streak didn't go up today. You need an approved quest, not a submitted one. If your Game Master hasn't reviewed it yet, the day counts once they do.

My streak reset and I don't think I missed anything. Check whether a quest sat open on a day you didn't finish anything. An open quest makes every one of those days count, not just the day it was set.

My streak reset while I was away. If quests were waiting while you were on holiday, those days broke it. Ask your Game Master to hold off setting quests when you're away.

I completed a quest but my weekly streak didn't move. The weekly streak counts one per week, not one per quest. It goes up on your first completion of each new week.

My weekly streak dropped for no reason I can see. Ask your Game Master whether the household's week start changed — see Household settings. Weekly streaks get counted again from scratch when it does.
